The Trillium Lakelands District School Board is happy with its high school graduation rate numbers.

The government released its 2015 five-year rate which showed an increase of more than 17 per cent since 2004, sitting at 85 per cent. Trillium Lakelands District School board recorded an 82 percent and Superintendent of Secondary School Improvement, Bruce Barrett says this number is great.

The 85 per cent for the province is the highest level in the province s history.

The Principal of Haliburton Highlands Secondary School will not comment on the high school graduation rate numbers.
