The John Howard Society has started its six week program at J. Douglas Hodgson Elementary School, to teach children how to eat healthy.
Program Coordinator Susan McClean says the program Towards a Healthy Future also allows kids to socialize with their peers.
McClean says the program has been made possible because of John Howard’s community partners and the Haliburton County Food Net.
She says any agency that wants to partner up, or find out more information regarding this program can contact John Howard.
