Students can start their own business this summer because of the Government of Ontario.
The Summer Company online application deadline has been extended for applicants in Haliburton County, which can be submitted through the Haliburton Creative Business Incubator.
HCBI says right now there is not a deadline, but there is limited funding.
They say students between the age of 15 to 29 are eligible for up to $3,000 to start their business, and on-going mentorship throughout the summer.
