The Service Provider’s Network is putting on two free seminars called Food Frustration: Healthy Eating on a Budget.

HKPR Public Health Food Worker Megan Stong says the prices at grocery stores are making it challenging to afford healthy foods.

Stong says they will also be talking about how to plan meals, and how to save money at the grocery store.

The sessions will be on Tuesday May 17th, at the United Church in Haliburton, and at the Lloyd Watson Centre in Wilberforce.

Megan Stong says people can preregister by calling the Community Support Services, but it’s not mandatory.
