Police and health agencies are working together to encourage residents to dispose unused, outdated and unwanted prescription drugs.
This Saturday, residents can dispose medication in a secure, environmentally-friendly matter.
Officials say drugs can be dropped off in Haliburton at Rexall Pharmacy, Shoppers Drug Mart, Haliburton Highlands Pharmacy and at Todd’s Independent Grocers.
They can also be dropped off in Minden at the Pharmasave, and Highland Remedy’s RX Pharmacy.
