A logo to represent the sesquicentennial of Dysart et al has been picked.
The municipality invited residents to participate in an open competition by asking them to design a logo for its 150th birthday.
Dysart’s recreation program coordinator Andrea Mueller says Darby Bayly’s design caught the eyes of committee members because it represents the township’s past, as well as the present day.
Mueller says Bayly’s logo will be used on all promotional material associated with Dysart’s 150th celebrations.
The municipality has awarded Bayly with a $150 cash prize.
