The fire chief of Cardiff is preparing a No Burn draft Bylaw for councillors.
Resident Kathy Gray expressed her concerns of downtown burning at a Highlands East council meeting.
She says it would be devastating to discuss the loss of a home or a life due to a fire.
Fire Chief Bill Wingrove agrees and says he has received many complaints about smoke and fumes.
He also says the cost associated with multiple fires would be enormous.
