Haliburton County has received funding for Celebrate Canada events across the area.
Local MP Jamie Schmale says Minden Hills, Algonquin Highlands, and Gooderham received the money.
He says it will be used towards Canada Day celebrations.
He says it’s important to thank all the volunteers and municipal staff members for their applications for funding.
He says Celebrate Canada has become a tradition offering Canadians the opportunity to share their pride for the country.
