The Haliburton County Community Co-operative has received a $3,000 grant which will go towards a new program at the Visible Voices Open Arts Studio.
Local MPP Laurie Scott says this money will help design a class for seniors in the early stages of dementia and their caregivers.
She says the studio is supporting health initiatives which make the community a better place to live.
Scott says the money is from the Seniors Community Grant Program.
