Algonquin Highlands needs to replace its septic system at the township’s office.
Chief Administrative Officer Angie Bird says during the construction of the new addition along North Shore Road two septic bed runs were damaged due to the inability to locate their exact location.
The township has received three quotes for replacement costs.
They have chosen Francis Thomas Contracting, which will cost $21,000.
Angie Bird says the company has been authorized to complete the work immediately.
