The Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Pine Ridge District Health Unit has tested beaches in the area and two are posted with high bacteria levels.
Minden Rotary Lagoon Beach and Minden Rotary Main Beach both have posted signs saying they are unsafe for swimming.
The rest of the beaches in the county are safe for swimming.
