A tentative agreement has been reached for 100 Haliburton-Kawartha-Pine Ridge District Health Unit employees under CUPE 1602.
Although the details won’t be public until early July, officials say the deal is fair and reasonable for both parties.
CUPE representative Jennifer Mizerovsky says the negation will strengthen and improve public health services in Haliburton County.
Officials say workers still need to vote on the tentative settlement.
