Routine traffic stops still resulting in charges

Charges are still being laid after routine OPP vehicle stops. Earlier this month police stopped one on Highway 35 near Pontypool Road where a speed warning measuring device was seized. The 62 year old Scarborough man was charged. Then on Ski Hill Road a 45 year old Newtonville woman was charged with driving while under suspension. She now has an April 1st court date. And on Boundary Road a vehicle stop resulted in the driver being charged for driving without insurance and an expired validation permit. That driver has an April 1st court date in Lindsay.
