The Minden Hills Fire Department wants residents and visitors to remember conditions are dry outside.
Fire Chief Doug Schell says there is not a fire ban in place, but he is encouraging people to use extreme caution.
Schell says if people are planning on using fireworks this Canada Day long weekend, they should have a bucket of water beside them.
He says campfires should also be totally extinguished before leaving it unattended.
