Residents and visitors in Haliburton County can fish for free until July 10th.
This is a province-wide event which allows Canadians to fish without a licence.
Officials say most of Haliburton County and surrounding areas are under zone 15 regulations.
They say when looking at this link, look for code ‘C’ to find out how many fish you’re allowed to keep.
