The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit has ratified an agreement with its CUPE members.
The new four-year collective agreement includes a 1.5 per cent salary increase in 2016 and 2017, and one per cent in 2018 and 2019.
It will also include improvements to extended health care and time off benefits, along with recognizing Remembrance Day as a paid holiday.
Chair of the HKPR Board of Health Mark Lovshin says the agreement provides staff with a fair level of compensation, recognizing their hard work.
There are 84 members with CUPE Local 1602.
