Minden merchants should be consulted with before an accessibility ramp pilot project is rolled out. That from Minden Hills councilors recently. The Minden Times reports councillors directed the Township’s interim chief building officer to make sure the consultation happens. Minden Hills was given the green light for the project in September. It would put removable ramps at business entrances along the main strip of Bobcaygeon Road to improve accessibility. But some say the ramps would pose problems, with some thinking they could pose a safety hazard if someone slips on them.
