With the spring approaching there continues to be flood worries in Minden. The Minden Times reports residents don’t want a repeat of last spring which left parts of the village under water for three weeks. Minden Hills Fire Chief Doug Schell says he’s already started fielding questions. The Township is also checking with the Trent Severn Waterway. Currently, water levels are reported to be average or below average for this time of year. A flood preparedness plan will be posted on the Township’s website, along with links to the TSW and the MNR.
