Haliburton Art and School of Design has picked a reclaim artist to show the community a creative vision of garbage.
Valerie Ashton has been given the title.
Ashton says she wants to show people the effect landfills have on the environment.
Ashton says she will be working with staff at the landfill site collecting garbage to make into art.
