Things are about to get hotter in Haliburton County.

According to Environment Canada, a hot and humid airmass is on its way from the Gulf of Mexico.

The heat will arrive tomorrow afternoon, with highs of 30 to 33 and stay until Thursday.

Officials say nights will be warm and muggy with overnight lows of 20 to 23.

They say a cooler airmass should move in on Thursday night.
