Haliburton needs a pool. That from the Community Swimming Pool Initiative who recently appeared before County Council. According to the Haliburton Highlander, the group has conducted a feasibility study that suggests if a rec centre is built, it should be done in Haliburton Village. As well, between 1600 and 2230 county residents could be expected to buy an adult membership at $45 a month. Higher membership fees and putting a rec centre in Minden had less support.
