A local NHL hockey champion is supporting our hometown clinic today.
Centre for the Colorado Avalanche Matt Duchene hopes people will give blood this summer.
Duchene will be at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch today signing autographs in hopes of getting more people to donate blood.
He says he will be there from 2:00pm to 3:30pm.
The Canadian Blood Services is hoping to collect 200 blood donations in Haliburton this summer, and gain 50 new donors.
