The new staff sergeant of Haliburton Highlands OPP wants to reduce the number of wildlife collisions, and create relationships with stakeholders.
Richard Riopelle says in a rural community it’s important to create relationships to reduce crime.
Riopelle says he still needs to research more information on how to lower the number of wild life collisions.
He says Haliburton County is a prime location for him and his family.
