Next year’s Ontario 55+ Winter Games will be tasty. According to the Haliburton Echo, the Games, which are happening in Haliburton County next February, will include a new venture called ‘A Taste of the Highlands’. It will include 16 events happening at 16 venues, eateries and accommodations throughout the community. It’s an attempt to boost community involvement to higher levels than there were in 2011 – the last time Haliburton hosted the event.
