The municipality of Highlands East wants to blast the hill on Parquin Trail.
Economic Development and Business Coordinator Curtis Tighe says they want to fix the slope problem from Billings Lake Road to Lakeshore Road to make it smoother for riders.
Councillors received a quote of $80,000 for blasting.
Councillor Joan Barton says $40,000 is in the budget which covers 50 per cent of the cost.
