Another stretch of hot and humid weather has arrived in Haliburton County.

Environment Canada says we will see temperatures in the low to mid-thirties this week, but with the humidex over the weekend it will feel more like 40 degrees.

Officials urge everyone to drink water before they feel thirsty to decrease the risk of dehydration.

They say heat warnings are issued when very high temperatures can cause an elevated risk of heat illnesses, like heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
