The community of Haliburton County was ready to donate money to a resident whose guitar went missing on Wednesday.
One of the people collecting donations, Natasha Coombs, says it pulled on her heart strings when she heard Clarence Rowbottom’s guitar was gone.
Coombs says the reaction from the community was overwhelming, because so many people were willing to donate.
She says in the end, donations weren’t needed because a man named Dan Coghlan donated his guitar to Clarence.
