Go the speed limit to avoid stunt racing charges

Going 50 kilometers over the speed limit is considered stunt racing.

On Saturday, police officers were in the Township of Minden Hills when they spotted a driver travelling fast.

Officers say the Vaughan resident was going 50 kilometers over the speed limit.

The OPP says the penalties for stunt driving include a fine between $2,000 and $10,000.

Officials say in 2007 stunt driving was added to the Ontario Highway Traffic act.
