Make sure to look for signs before jumping into the lake this long weekend.

The Haliburton-Kawartha-Pine Ridge District Health Unit has tested beaches in the area and two are posted with high bacteria levels.

Paudash Lake Beach and Minden Rotary Lagoon Beach both have been posted because of a bacteria that makes swimmers sick.

The rest of the beaches in the county are safe for swimming.
