Minden Hills sees damage after the flooding this spring

The 2016 spring flood created problems and challenges for residents and all township departments of Minden Hills.

Roads Superintendent Travis Wilson says over 12 days 330 regular hours were worked by the roads department, and they worked over 100 overtime hours.

Wilson says many roads received damage.

Wilson says some culverts need to be replaced, ditches need to be cleaned and resurfacing needs to be done.

He says the additional cost caused by the flooding is estimated to be over $60,000.
