Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Haliburton and surrounding areas.
This includes Minden, Oxtongue Lake, and Fort Irwin.
Current conditions could lead to severe thunderstorms, that could cause strong winds, large hail and heavy rain.
Strong winds could toss loose objects, damage weak buildings break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles.
Heavy rain could cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
