News Dorset Community Partnership Fund Gets Thousands of Dollars for a Project SHARE ON: Kaitlin Livingston, contributor, Wednesday, Aug. 10th, 2016 Twelve communities will receive money from the Government of Canada including Dorset. This comes after the government announced it would be investing money to boost economic activity, and create jobs to mark the celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary. The Dorset Community Partnership Fund will receive over $20,000 to renovate the entrance to the Dorset Community Health Care Hub. The front porch will be expanded to a four-season room to create separation of the entrance from the waiting area. Officials say the improvements will provide easier access to services for citizens.
