The Haliburton Highlands OPP, and the MNRF want to warn you about bears while camping.
Last week, a tent near Pog Lake in Algonquin Park was damaged by a bear.
Officials say to reduce the risk of coming across bears, store food and garbage properly.
A bear-wise campaign can be found on the MNRF’s website.
Police say if you come across a bear, and if it’s an emergency, call the OPP.
