The Haliburton Junction Skate Park committee is in high gear planning ways to raise more money.
The Municipality of Dysart et al decided to start fundraising for an improved skate park, and needs to raise $100,000 towards the project.
On September 10th, the committee will host an event at the skate park.
Organizers say there will be competitions for skateboarders.
An application for the Ontario 150 Community Capital Fund is being prepared in hopes to get $60,000 for the park.
