In a few days the Haliburton Highlands OPP will be out on the roads, waterways and trails to ensure a safe and enjoyable Labour Day weekend for everyone.
Officials say this is part of the Distracted Driving Campaign which will be launched on Friday.
They say residents should report distracted drivers because they cause a risk on our roads.
Officials say when you’re riding with a driver whose eyes are not on the road, you are not safe.
They say a driver may use any device you do not touch, hold or manipulate.
