Councillor Dennis Casey says Dysart’s recreation pilot program is a one shot deal. He says the committee is pleased with Dysart’s new recreation pilot program so far and hopes it will continue.
The committee received a provincial grant which will only last one year. At last week’s public meeting, the community gave their input to program coordinator Andrea Mueller for the programs they want to see.
Casey says council will let the program unfold for the year then sit down and discuss what to do to continue funding.
The committee is set to meet at the end of the month to adjust and carry out programs.
