The Municipality of Haliburton County wants residents to know about a temporary rail trail closure.
Starting September 12th, the trail will be closed to all traffic at the Howland Junction Bridge for seven weeks.
This is because the bridge needs a new deck and railing.
Council approved $250,000 for the project in the 2016 Rail Trail budget.
The Director of Public Works Craig Douglas says this should cover all the costs.
