Dysart et al is gathering paddling information from residents and visitors to create an online paper before Canada’s 150th anniversary.
In order to do this, an event has been made called Explore Our Lakes.
Next Wednesday, you’re invited to paddle along the York River and hike up High Falls.
Recreation Program Coordinator Andrea Mueller says this is a good chance to enjoy the sounds of nature, and canoe with others.

Information gathered will be used to promote a better boating experience in Haliburton County.
