Haliburton Highlands Health Services is looking to expand its hospice volunteer team.
Hospice provides support to people and families who are living with a serious or life-threatening illnesses.
Coordinator Lynn Higgs Thompson says training begins in October.
Higgs Thompson says all it takes is a few hours a week to make a difference in someone’s life.
