Road work will help create jobs in the area

A $93-million investment is being used to improve highways in Eastern Ontario.

The province says the funding will be used on 23 construction projects, which will create almost 1,000 jobs.

This includes repaving, repairing and replacing some roads, bridges, and signs.

The projects include replacing the Cameron Lake Bridge on Highway 35 in Kawartha Lakes.
