Hundreds of people on social media are sticking up for the owner of PrettyPaws Pet Boutique and Spa in Haliburton.
Yesterday, the business was vandalized with a homophobic slur on the door. This is the second time this has happened.
Christopher O’Mara says this time he’s not going to let it go because it’s the second time his sexuality has been personally attacked in a public and hateful matter.
O’Mara says a conversation needs to happen with students, children and families to enforce the idea that this form of intolerance is not going to be tolerated in our community.

The other incident happened in mid-summer, when someone vandalized the businesses window.
O’Mara says he wants something to be done so this doesn’t happen again.
