The organization is holding a workshop aiming to reduce the number of hydro disconnection notices, as well as actual hydro disconnects. Coordinator Tina Jackson says they want to provide assistance to prevent people from getting to the crisis stage. //www.myhaliburtonnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Heatbank-V1.wav Jackson says recently she’s noticed an increase in people who are over the poverty level who are now struggling with housing because of the cost of hydro.
