Minden Hills is looking for ways to promote its cultural centre

The Minden Hills Cultural Centre wants to reach people outside of Haliburton County.

Director of Community Services Mark Coleman says they had a survey this summer which visitors filled out at the centre.

Coleman says the results showed most of the visitors were from Minden.

He says most people found out about the cultural centre by word of mouth.

Coleman says the township needs to find better ways to market the cultural centre.

Staff will be meeting with the County of Haliburton Tourism Department to discuss marketing options and ways to promote the cultural centre.
