Ontario’s Energy Support Program isn’t helping our local MPP’s riding.
Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock MPP Laurie Scott says only 137,000 people have qualified for the program in the province.
Scott wants to see electricity rates reduced to help people who are in energy poverty.
She says hydro rates are four times higher than what they were when the Liberal Government first came into power.
