Approvals have already started rolling in for the Ontario 55+ Winter Games.
At yesterday’s meeting, Highlands East council approved the use of Keith Tallman Memorial Arena and the Lloyd Watson Centre for the games.
General Manager Myke Malone says the committee plans to focus on strengthening the economy. A majority of the budget will be spent right here in Haliburton County. The website is set to launch in May.
