The Canadian National Pond Hockey Championships is coming back to Haliburton County.
The event used to happen here in 2013 and 2014.
Resident John Teljeur bought the event, and says this will help the community.
Teljeur expects over 160 teams will be signing up.

He is planning to add some fundraising efforts to benefit local charities.
It will be happening at the Pinestone Resort on January 27th to the 29th, and February 3rd to the 5th.
