Highlands East Information Centre has been rated from a secret shopper visit from the Ontario Highlands Tourism Organization.
The centre received nearly 70 per cent on the building’s environment, and a 100 per cent on service, employee presentations, and tourism products. In the report, the shopper notes the location and the interior of the centre are lacking. The person also states employees are outgoing, helpful, and have great knowledge. The shopper enjoyed the interaction with the workers the best.
The Information Centre is working towards the following three goals, providing a positive outdoor experience, supporting tourism and economic development, and enhancing positive first impressions of communities in Highlands East.
