Stanhope Municipal Airport slowly gets ready for a new year

It’s been a busy fall season for the Stanhope Municipal Airport.

Manager Cam Loucks says although aircraft movements and fuel sales have slowed down, the 2016 projects are wrapping up.

The new accessible deck and ramp are now completed.  Public Works helped with some minor grading.

He says they also helped with the installation of the new parking lot gate.

The food truck located at the airport, Delightful Temptations, is now closed for the season.

Loucks says the next goal is to prepare a report for the first round of discussions for the 2017 township and airport budgets.
