Young residents in Haliburton County are being invited by the municipality to celebrate our future by being creative.
Next year will mark the 30th anniversary of the Canada Day Challenge. This is an art, photography, and creative writing contest. The Canada Day Challenge asks people from 8 to 18 years of age to celebrate our country culture, explore its heritage, and to participate in a unique creative experience.
Participants could win an all-expenses paid grand prize trip for two to Ottawa to celebrate Canada Day and take park in activities for the 150th anniversary of confederation.
The challenge will accept entries from January 3rd, to March 31st.
