Plans are rolling for the potential theater in Minden.
Rahim Lakhani bought the old theatre building on Water Street in September. He says the community is great here, and very inviting, that’s how he knew the decision was right. Lakhani has submitted an application to the township to allow them to extend the building envelope to the lot line. This is because he wants to add an Annex to support the venue’s use as a live theatre.
Without this extension, the facility can only function as a movie theatre. He is asking residents to send him their support letters.
Lakhani is also looking for committee members to help develop the theatre.
